Version 1.43 The Juvenile Release
Incremental Releases:

Cool month, lots to get through. Biggest news is that we've found a full-time writer to help with producing more delicious alphabet soup. She'll also help out here and there with reaching out to people beyond the sacred halls of the Discord server, but mostly she'll be writing. I've read some of her spicy words and it was pretty good, so I'm excited to see what she can do with AW!

Aside from that, somehow I ended up on a bit of an art kick this month. Wasn't even really intentional, I just thought I wanted a nice "first milk" image to go with that happening. Once I got started though, I kept going... just one of those moods I guess. I'll share some high res versions in this release for the elite build tier.

I also did some work on the aw-wiki.com things, spiffing things up a bit and making them nicer. A little nicer looking, search functionality to search through the change logs, and a more organized/usable guide page. This was largely inspired by a certain person on Discord who asks a lot of questions, but it's also something useful for everyone.

Not inspired by said person, but mentioned more than once by a few other people, is adding a hucow section to the in-game encyclopedia. A lot of people miss things skimming through the orientation and first day text, particularly when they've already read it several months ago. But there's a lot of story hints in there, along with some more cut-and-dry info like the criteria for different hucow development stages. I also thought it'd be good to have an actual set of lore that is in one place, explaining all the important stuff about hucowery and things like Furious Cow Disease. Nearly 25,000 new words were added to the encyclopedia this month, including a couple extra entries about general AW lore that I thought would be good.

We're going to keep chugging away at hucows, hopefully be pretty much done by the end of the year. Depending on how things work out with our new team member, I might be able to take some time to keep working on the avatar, and we might be able to start doing an expansion of the small daily job events too. We'll see how it goes. I'm amazed to see that we're closing in on 4 million words now, which is just amazing once I stop to think about it. I'm thinking of doing something special for the 4 million word mark, but I'm not sure what... stop by Discord if you have an idea!

Thanks everyone for your support, for reading all this nonsense, and for playing AW!
