Hooray for another release day!
First an important note regarding SubscribeStar. It seems some sort of automated system they have decided that Accidental Woman is actually a woman and doing OnlyFans type things--and not a game. As a result, it auto-blocked the page. Once I found out the page was blocked (from people on Discord), I started contacting support and have finally gotten that info on what happened. Hopefully the page will be unblocked soon. In the meantime, I'm going to try a workaround to get the new release out to current subscribers there.
And now back to our regularly scheduled content. I have no idea why I decided to call this one the downtime release. I've been busier than ever! Maybe a bit of wishful thinking. Anyway, this is a pretty big release, with a lot of content and a whole heaping helping of mechanics expansion and overhaul.
We've got over 70,000 new words of content, which is a fuckton for a month, including both hucows and Maeve our goth futa. Regarding Maeve, you may notice that there's at least a little method to the madness. When working on big changes to the mechanics, I always try to have content that helps showcase it.
The mechanics update itself has been a long time coming, and is something I've wanted to do for a while. Players who are into the pregnancy and birth control aspects of the game should find a lot to enjoy here, but also I think that even players who aren't into that will be thankful to have more control over pregnancy in the game.
Aside from that stuff, there's also plenty of fun hucow shenanigans to enjoy. CE is making good progress, but there's still so much work to do! Honestly everything is really exciting right now. I may be busy, but I'm loving it!

Change Log
- Alleyway Goth Futa (Maeve) Overhaul & Expansion (apx 135,000 char, not inc. texting)
- Alleyway scene has a good amount of rewrites with additional choices/routes.
- New option to try and deliberately get pregnant.
- New options resulting from a request to stop your birth control.
- Some new content involving your diaphragm (if used).
- The scene variations largely revolve around birth control and potential pregnancy
- Pregnancy kink takes priority, but there are also variations for risky kink as well.
- Whether the PC is using hormonal birth control.
- Time in the PC's cycle - i.e. risky day or not.
- There are tons of variations here, so the scene can be quite different even with the same choices.
- There are three "outcomes" from the scene that controls future content.
- Negative experience, you will no longer encounter Maeve.
- Basically just managing to turn down having sex with her (requires willpower check).
- Positive experience, Maeve will give you her name and text you later (story continues).
- She wants to get you pregnant if possible, so options that make this more likely will generally result in this.
- Characters with pregnancy or risky kinks already behave enough like this to generally have this result.
- Neutral experience, scene can repeat with reduced odds.
- Non-vaginal options.
- Avoiding her herbal supplement.
- Negative experience, you will no longer encounter Maeve.
- Texting scene that can occur after 12(ish) days where Maeve finds out if you got pregnant or not.
- A lot of variation based on whether you got pregnant, if you stopped BC, if you took the supplement and how much, etc.
- The scene itself is on the shorter side because of the branching. Just a quick texting convo, though you can learn more about Maeve.
- Pretty much all routes will continue the Maeve story except being angry about getting pregnant.
- Scene can result in you taking a Samurai pill if you want to stop birth control to get pregnant.
- Maeve can give you a week's supply of Japanese Herbal Supplement that helps with birth control.
- This supplement is different from the real supplement, with similar but stronger effects.
- The supplement and Maeve's version has been totally redone (more info below).
- You may take the first pill during the scene, or just have them in your inventory.
- Receiving pills allows you to find the real supplement in Oedipus Rx (always available at Nature's Treasury).
- NOTES: Event can be encountered during the day when in downtown Appletree. Futa PCs can participate, but Maeve wouldn't actually pick a futa as a cumdump. Maeve has the hormone jizz mutation that can cause you to ovulate early (high power).
- Alleyway scene has a good amount of rewrites with additional choices/routes.
- New Maeve the Goth Futa Scene (apx 65,000 char)
- Encountered during the day in downtown Appletree. Requires completion of the texting scene with Maeve first with a positive result. Requires that the player has at least one vaginal womb that can get pregnant.
- Maeve has found herself in a bit of a predicament and needs your help!
- That help of course involves your pussy.
- At this point, it's too late to refuse helping her; sex is happening (there are still options though).
- This scene also heavily focuses on insemination and impregnation, it also features cumflation.
- There is notable variation based on whether the PC is using hormonal birth control, wearing a diaphragm, or owns a diaphragm.
- There is variation based on events of the previous alleyway encounter, including BC status at that time and whether pregnancy resulted.
- The player is provided various courses of action to potentially try and prevent pregnancy or embrace it.
- The player is likely to be given a Plan C emergency contraception pill if they indicate wanting to avoid pregnancy.
- New artsy stuff for the scene at appropriate spots.
- Scene builds the PC's relationship with Maeve, which will lead to new encounters (club encounter, house call, goth little sister: all NYI).
- Currently can be replayed (odds significantly reduced after first time), eventually will be one-time-only.
- A few fixes/tweaks to fertility stuff.
- Fixed some issues with the birthing code.
- A couple things that could cause an issue in an unlikely scenario.
- tentapuppy tentacle babies no longer count as human.
- Added a couple utility functions for providing specific info requiring calculation.
- Improved how gestation acceleration works.
- Adjusted the acceleration treatments at Gestique/Coop
- Now properly applies to all wombs, as some extras could be missed.
- Can now be applied to a womb before being pregnant, so you don't have to go get dosed with each new pregnancy.
- They won't stop you from taking it even if it won't do any good.
- Note: boosts are lost on a by-womb basis upon giving birth.
- Project Quickening is now a permanent treatment.
- Price increased because it's a one-time payment.
- Can now have a non-standard boost applied if we want for a temporary effect.
- Fully boosted characters w/ gestation mutation can reduce pregnancy to as little as 1.5 weeks. (other methods can reduce this further)
- Improved the diaphragm function in the sperm simulator, improves functionality (and efficacy).
- Fixed some issues with the birthing code.
- New/Updated Cheats
- A couple new cheat options in the fertility tab, better zygote/fetus handling
- Birth Pod cheats in fertility tab to add/unlock
- A new hucow section in status cheats to update the hucow ABCs.
- new Maeve scene launchers in the dev tools popup
- new fert cycle advance tool in the dev tools popup
- New Gestation Optimization System
- Purchasable at Gestique.
- When enabled, will boost the growth of all your fetuses daily.
- Rate of growth boost depends on whether PC has the gestation mutation or not.
- With the mutation, growth is increased by 1% each morning.
- Without, growth is increased by 0.1% each morning.
- BIRTH CONTROL OVERHAUL Part Deux
- Aside from wanting a high fidelity simulation in general, there are three reasons for this:
- To have more realistic and effective options for players who want their character to avoid pregnancy.
- To enable more fun playing with pregnancy risk in a larger variety of ways and degrees.
- To open up more potential roleplay for players who enjoy that.
- Hormonal birth control in general is now much more effective (note the wide array of things that can still compromise it)
- Individual hormonal birth control has had their function adjusted to better take advantage of the previous mechanics expansion.
- The strength of most things that can compromise HBC have been toned down though, including mutations.
- Better weighting of effects of daily birth control tracking, the most recent 5 days are most important to efficacy, while days 11-15 have less effect.
- Strongest negative mental effects now occur with breeder kink, while the pregnancy or risky kinks cause the weaker mental effect.
- Health impacts of all options have been adjusted.
- Emergency contraception (Plan B) functionality has been totally redone.
- Significantly more realistic.
- Now has a dwell time to reach full effectiveness, with no efficacy on day 0 (you'd already be ovulating by the time you take it), moderate efficacy on day 1, and full efficacy on day 2.
- Interactions with other HBC adjusted (generally it's not a good thing to double up guys).
- More realistic fade of efficacy after most effective window.
- Rewording of item text for some pre-existing birth control items, including Lutogol, BasiPill, and Plan B.
- Totally redone encyclopedia/guide entry on birth control.
- Contains better information on how birth control works in the game.
- Contains some background/setting information about how it's viewed/treated in the world of AW.
- Contains details about the various game BC methods and how they work.
- A spoiler includes actual specific efficacy numbers for specific drugs if desired.
- Contains some Accidental Educational information about birth control in the real world, as a comparison to AW.
- Fun fact: What you learned in school--in the US at least--was probably pretty wrong.
- Expansion of hormonal birth control options.
- Herbal birth control "Baby Free" (lower efficacy, minimal side effects, harder to remember).
- Over The Counter (OTC) birth control. (cheap, effective, safer medicine/lower side effects, harder to remember).
- 0pill OTC smart birth control. (expensive, effective, safer/lower side effects, guaranteed to remember).
- Note: this is not a consumable item. You toggle auto taking the pill from its entry in the simple inventory.
- Plan C emergency contraceptive. (less expensive, different mode of action, safer than Plan B).
- While not as powerful as Plan B at its most effective, plan C begins working immediately.
- AUTO PILL SYSTEM!
- You can now toggle a setting for each birth control pill to take it automatically each morning.
- Various aspects of your character will affect how likely you are to forget a pill in a given cycle.
- Modeled after real life, you're generally pretty good at it. Even being bad at it still means taking it almost every day.
- Being forgetful, or going hard on brain damage will make you more likely to forget a pill or two each month.
- Note: pill efficacy is modeled realistically, so half the time forgetting a pill won't even do anything.
- Good memory characters are really good at taking their pill, always taking it (unless another effect hurts their odds)
- Certain kinks can make you less worried about it, thus increasing the chance of missing a pill.
- The 0pill guarantees you'll take it every day, as the app is super annoying until you do.
- Having a "bottle-o-pills" instead of a blister makes it easier to forget.
- The item description will now describe if you actually remember taking it in the morning.
- You might remember taking it when you didn't, think you didn't take it when you did, or might not remember either way.
- This information is less accurate than actually taking the pill, as routine isn't great for later recall.
- The morning information after sleeping will now display information about taking any auto medication.
- Careful players may notice if they forgot something important...
- You can only have a single birth control pill set to auto, turning one on will turn off any others you might have had on.
- Overdosing is still a thing, so you can poison yourself a bit just like before if you take a pill manually.
- Autopill system is currently limited to birth control and a daily supplement, could be expanded to other medicines I suppose...
- Prescription Required!
- Most forms of hormonal birth control will now require a prescription to be purchased.
- You can get a prescription at Dr. Weiner's clinic in the medical district.
- Single prescription is good for the rest of the game.
- New dialog at the pharmacy related to this.
- Fertility Factor Adjustment.
- Having very high fertility can cause birth control to be a little less effective (not new).
- This specifically depends on the fertility factors related to ovulation, primarily release strength and to a lesser degree multiple egg susceptibility.
- Temporary fertility boost, and specific effects influencing these factors count for the strength of the effect.
- The strength of this effect has been reduced significantly, using diminishing returns and a hard cap.
- The most crazy fertile characters could see a reduction in efficacy of up to 5%.
- Having very high fertility can cause birth control to be a little less effective (not new).
- Birth control harming mutations tweaked.
- Both have a smaller effect on birth control efficacy, in particular the hormone resistance mutation.
- Still have an effect greater than the sum of their parts if combined, though this is also less significant.
- Significantly reduced effect on IUDs.
- BC Implant resists some effects that influence other forms of birth control.
- Focuses more on the hidden/less obvious things, to make it more effective for general use.
- Mutations and things that obviously hurt BC like Samurai still have their full effect.
- IUDs have been made more effective.
- Still only available for vaginal wombs.
- Note that odds are calculated on a per-zygote basis because that's how IUDs work.
- The more you ovulate and the more resulting zygotes, the more likely one will manage to implant.
- If you have 35 zygotes, you're looking at about a 10% chance one will implant.
- Diaphragm efficacy improved.
- The decrease in efficacy from the age of the diaphragm has been significantly reduced.
- Generally more effective numbers across the board.
- Because of how diaphragms actually work, it depends a lot more on how many creampies are received and how much jizz is splashing around inside you.
- Aside from wanting a high fidelity simulation in general, there are three reasons for this:
- "Hormone Jizz" mutation overhaul.
- Now calculated only once per creampie.
- This does remove a lot of the location-specific aspects of efficacy.
- Prevents situations where odds are inflated or deflated (sometimes dramatically) by the semen simulation.
- Now takes your cycle into account when determining if an ovulation is triggered. Odds are better when you're closer to actually ovulating.
- Now allows for varying strength of effect.
- Triggering an ovulation in one womb decreases the odds of other wombs being triggered.
- Now calculated only once per creampie.
- New "Fucoidan" drug, a Japanese herbal supplement that you can take.
- Available in Nature's Treasury downtown. (After encountering Maeve, can also be found in a pharmacy.)
- Has four dosing levels, and provides stronger effects with a stronger dose.
- Taking 5 daily provides a tiny additional benefit, but won't harm you. More than 5 has no additional benefit/effect.
- Reduces the negative effects of taking hormonal birth control, including negative mental effects.
- Reduces the incidence of health damage based on the dosage. Note that health damage has a random element to it, which can make this effect less obvious.
- Reduces or eliminates the negative effects of birth control overdose (depending on dosage).
- Reduces the chance of early-term miscarriage, completely preventing them with the recommended dosage.
- Can use the AutoPill system to take it automatically each day, and can set your own dose.
- Also gives you a slow female fertility boost, eventually reaching 12 of max 15.
- note that fertility boost declines daily, so actually reaching that level depends on dosage.
- See the bottom for more detailed spoilery info on how it works.
- New PregTech BIRTHPOD home item.
- A special home item that allows you to give birth at home.
- Purchased at the Gestique fertility clinic, and comes with a whole scene to go with it.
- You can find a display advertising the device after you've given birth at least once. (Should we also add a fixed time or other condition to make it available too?)
- The device is heavily discounted and subsidized, thanks in part to purchasers participating in an initial public trial.
- Because of the trial, the PC is required to have an above-average fertility and possess the rapid gestation mutation.
- The base price is 1999 credits but can be decreased to as little as 99 by using a variety of subsidies.
- Working for Progenerate Technologies will provide a huge 1200 credit price reduction.
- Participating in the behavioral modification trial will reduce the price by 50 to 100 credits.
- Adds the pregnancy and risky kinks with a fun hypno-esque scene. Price is based on whether 1 or 2 kinks are added.
- characters with both kinks already can't participate.
- Participating in the birth control prevention trial will offer a 200 credit reduction.
- Causes the PC to gain the hormone resistance mutation with a fun scene where the PC learns that it is actually permanent.
- Ineligible if they already have the mutation.
- Participating in the anal uterus trial will offer a 400 credit reduction.
- Fun scene where the player gains a fully functional rectal womb.
- Currently the only way to gain a rectal womb (I think) without also getting tentacle transformation.
- Can cause some anal pain, there's a pretty big insertion.
- All characters are eligible for this one.
- Purchasing the device plays a scene where the player gets a quick exam, some instructions/info from a nurse, and participates in any chosen subsidy trial
- Must be placed in a room of your home like any other furniture item.
- Interacting with the device allows you to sit in it and be scanned.
- Provides the most comprehensive pregnancy scan in the game, outside getting the raw/full information via cheats.
- Provides health, growth, and accurate per-womb due date information.
- Provides information on womb status, such as post-birth cycle pause and other stuff.
- It provides accurate information on the days until each womb is expected to ovulate.
- If a pregnancy is far enough along, it gives you the option to induce birth. (all viable wombs give birth at once, as usual)
- If you are not pregnant at all, and your primary womb is in its fertile window, it will perform an automatic insemination.
- If you have an empty anal womb, and the womb is in its fertile window, it will perform an automatic anal insemination.
- If you go into labor while out and about (non-induced) You will travel home and use the pod to give birth.
- Giving birth in the pod has some benefits:
- The total time required to give birth is significantly reduced, with a shorter maximum-duration.
- Things that would result in a cost (usually seen as a reduction in the birth bonus income) are eliminated.
- Birth at home is more convenient, particularly if you induce rather than entering labor randomly during the day.
- New customized/streamlined birth text so it's faster in real time in addition to game time.
- Random hucow events
- A trip to the town with fellow coop members, can get into trouble and irritate Abigail (she is really easy to get angry, heh) (10000 chars)
- Pussy plugged contest. Shoot water fountains lol. (5000 chars)
- Poor hucow tired on the stairs. Help her with some fruits (4000 chars)
- Begonia storyline got extended a lot.
- Can have a random encounter with her having an argument with a dairy hand about drinking too much. You may promise to talk to Begonia.
- You can certainly try to talk to her in the Corral bar about that, heh.
- If you are a good obedient hucow you may encounter Begonia getting corrected by Crawford.
- Some interesting options on helping either Begonia or Abigail in that scene.
- The outcome and next interactions with Begonia depend on the choices you've made.
- Not to say you may grow fond of being a dom in the process!
- Whole 22k characters of juicy content.
- Ginger the bartender became Queenie the bartender. There were somehow two bartenders in the Corral bar and they got mixed up as there was an intention to only make one.
- Anyway, Ginger was sent to hucow gulag. Yay.
- There was never any hucow named Ginger. Forget about her. Forever.
- Crawford fucked up event.
- Our dear Abigail failed with the injection and now asks what the character wants to forget about that event.
- Many options, all tasty: can ask for a fast food feist, more hucoins, temporary curfew removal or even ask for a night with Crawford.
- 23 000 chars of smut.
- Hucow's hips were adjusted to be bigger which is more lore-accurate. Affects some semi-random hucows in the COOP.
- Drinking contest scene in the Corral bar.
- 5000 characters.
- Seven new shorter job scenes for the COOP job.
- 4000 chars, mostly lewd ones.
Fucoidan Spoiler Info
This is a list of the other effects the supplement can cause.
- After maintaining the full 4-pill dose for at least 13 days in a row, taking 5 pills in a single day will cause the hormone resistance mutation.
- Fucoidan reduces the efficacy of all forms of hormonal birth control by reducing the amount of chems fed into the BC system.
- It only affects BC hormones on the day it was taken, so a single full-dose day isn't as bad as missing a pill.
- It has a more dramatic effect on emergency contraception taken, obviously, because that's a one-pill one-day dose.
- Note: If you stop taking Fucoidan on the day you take the emergency contraception (last dose is the same day you took the "morning after"), it will not have any effect on the contraception.
- The strength of hormone reduction depends on the Fucoidan dosage, and is not linear:
- 10% reduction in hormone.
- 25% reduction in hormone.
- 55% reduction in hormone.
- 85% reduction in hormone.
- 95% reduction in hormone.
- Taking Fucoidan long enough will cause a broader effect on your BC hormone levels.
- Taking it for 4 days in a row will cap the hormones currently in your 15-day history to a maximum of 90% of max potency. (it will not reduce hormones that are already below this level.)
- Taking a full dose (4 or more) for 4 days in a row will do the same, but reduce your hormone history to a max of 35% potency.
- Because of the way that Emergency contraception works, this effect is more dramatic for that contraception method.
